HDR 12 LR

Hilko van de Paard has been passionate about RIB boats for years. The ‘standard’ RIBs, regardless of their strength, did not meet his specific requirements. Their capacity to cope with endurance demands and perform well under all types of wind and sea conditions were simply too limited. In-house development of an RIB provided the opportunity to design a boat that meets those requirements. This led to the creation of HDR’s Arcticflow, made for adventure!

The boat is 12 metres long, has a very sturdy aluminium hull and comes with the option of attaching three heavy-duty outboard engines and fuel tanks with a capacity of 1,800 litres. The suspended cabin was developed to reduce the physical strain on the persons on board during rough conditions and for long-range use. In Reiger we have eventually found a supplier that could deliver a perfect suspension and shock absorber solution.
